Suzy Willow

Hello, Iā€™m Suzy

and I'm so delighted you're here.

As a registered Poetry Therapy Practitioner with the International Academy of Poetry Therapy, trauma-sensitive facilitator, trained counselor, and private poet, I create nurturing spaces where women can reconnect with their authentic voice, especially during times of transition and transformation.

Our Poetry Project blossomed from my own journey of self-discovery through expressive writing. When I first picked up my pen, I discovered a gateway to deeper truths and wisdom within myself. The beautiful works of poets like Mary Oliver, Naomi Shihab Nye, Jane Hirshfield, Gregory Orr, and David Whyte have been such loving companions, offering clarity and comfort through life's pivotal moments. In 2019, my path led me to train as a Poetry Therapy Practitioner, weaving together my love for writing with my heart's calling to support others in their own discovery.

In our intimate Poetry Circles, soul-nourishing workshops, and immersive online courses, we gently explore questions about identity, purpose, and authentic self-expression. I blend therapeutic writing practices with poetry's unique gift for illuminating our inner landscape. Whether you're navigating life's transitions, seeking personal growth, or longing to align more deeply with your truth, poetry can be your gentle compass.

It fills my heart with such joy to witness the beautiful moment when a woman discovers her own inner wisdom speaking clearly from the page ā€“ often delighting in its unexpected power and clarity.

I believe, with all my heart, that we are all carriers of poems, and that our poetic heart knows the way home to our most authentic self.

Let's walk this path of re-membering ourselves together, starting exactly where you are.
